Opportunities On-site
Volunteer at A HOPE–
A HOPE is open from 7 a.m. to noon every weekday & 8 a.m. to noon on weekends. A HOPE volunteers assist staff in getting the job done, handing out towels & toiletries for showers, checking mail & phone messages, and offering kindness & hope.
Help us get furniture & housewares for our clients moving into housing: learn more!
Opportunities Off-site
- Engage your Faith Community – Room in the Inn & HOPE to HOME are faith-based programs that offer congregations a chance to get involved in relationships with people experiencing homelessness. If you’re part of a faith community that’s not already working with Homeward Bound, get the ball rolling!
- Recruit Landlords – Do you own rental property, or know someone who does? Sometimes we have clients ready to move in & the money to pay for housing, but can’t find landlords to work with us. Help us build connections in the real estate community to move people off the streets & into permanent housing.
We love volunteer groups, too!
Volunteer group projects often include:
- Sorting donations
- Cleaning!
- Helping staff move clients into their new homes
- Picking up furniture donations
- Landscaping projects
